Care Drive Benefiting Friends of the Homeless — Now Through May 22

May 6, 2026

For many of our neighbors experiencing homelessness, the small comforts most of us take for granted — a clean toothbrush, a fresh bar of soap, a tube of chapstick on a windy day — can feel out of reach. And for those whose loyal pets are their closest companions through hard times, a full bowl of food or a simple chew toy can mean the world.

That’s where you come in.

From April 27 through May 22, we’re partnering with Friends of the Homeless to collect personal care essentials and pet supplies for the people and animals they serve every day. Every item, no matter how modest, becomes part of a care package that restores a little dignity, comfort, and joy to someone who needs it.

You don’t have to do much to make a real difference. Pick up an extra item or two on your next trip to the store, drop it in one of our donation boxes, and you’ve helped someone start their day feeling a little more human — and kept a beloved pet healthy and happy alongside them.

Donation boxes are located at the Security desks in the Lobby and the Parking Garage on Level C.

Items We’re Collecting:

  • Toothpaste and toothbrushes
  • Bar soap or body wash (full size preferred)
  • Shampoo and conditioner (2-in-1 preferred)
  • Deodorant (full size)
  • Hair combs or brushes
  • Razors and shaving cream
  • Feminine sanitary products
  • Sunscreen and chapstick
  • Pet food (canned or dry — dog and cat)
  • Toys and treats (for dogs and cats)
  • Playing cards, activity books, and phone chargers
