This summer, Springfield Cultural Partnership is celebrating 10 years of community impact while also marking an exciting moment for public art in downtown Springfield. Join us for a special community celebration featuring live performances, food and refreshments, interactive art experiences, and opportunities to connect with neighbors, artists, community leaders, and partners who have helped shape this work over the past decade.
The event will also highlight Sounds of Springfield, a permanent interactive public art installation coming to Tower Square Park in summer 2026. Designed for people of all ages and abilities, the installation will transform one of Springfield’s most visible civic spaces into a vibrant cultural destination through a collection of sculptural outdoor musical instruments that invite creativity, play, and connection.
While Sounds of Springfield was not created as part of our anniversary celebration, we are excited that these milestones are happening alongside one another. Together, they offer an opportunity to celebrate both the relationships and accomplishments that have shaped the past 10 years and the collaborative projects helping to shape Springfield’s future.
