Valley Photo Center Kicks Off a New Season
After a two-month hiatus, the folks at the Valley Photo Center are ready to start a new exciting season!
Beginning September 4th the Valley Photo Center will kick off with an interesting photo show featuring the works of the Pioneer Valley Photographic Artists (PVPA).
The PVPA is a group of photographers dedicated to sharing information on the art and science of photography, as well as educating the public on the art form, while recognizing the wealth of photographic talent in our communities. The goals of the PVPA are outreach, education and artistic appreciation through lectures and public exhibits, like the one being held at the Valley Photo Center.
The PVPA exhibit will be on display at the Valley Photo Center Sept. 4 - Oct. 5, and can be viewed by the public Tuesday through Saturday, 11am - 2pm.

TPatrons of the Citywalk Cafes food court were treated to a wonderful performance by the youth involved in the Summer Theater program at Dream Studios, Inc., last month.
About 15 young people performed a variety of song and ethnic dance as well as some theatrical readings for onlookers dining in the food court.
DREAM (Dramatically Reaching Everyone's Artistic Mentality) Studios, Inc., is a non-profit agency that provides services to community youths, making the arts affordable and accessible.
According to Benjamin Smith, the founder and Executive Director of Dream Studios, Inc., the mission of the organization is "to provide services for community youth who fall between the cracks of other after school programs that are based on athletics."
