Panoramic Photos Featured at Valley Photo Center
Back by popular demand! The International Association of Panoramic Photography (IAPP) will be presenting their annual competition and 2007 award winners at the Valley Photo Center this month.
From October 16 November 9, there will be one hundred panoramic images on display.
Panoramic images are the long, narrow images taken either from special cameras or from digital images "stitched" together in PhotoShop. Panoramic photo-artists from around the world will be represented in this exhibit.
The Valley Photo Center hosted the IAPP photographers two years ago in their former location downstairs in the old bank space. "Those images were stunning, colorful and very interesting. It was a real crowd pleaser back then, and we expect it to be the same this year," explained Gene LaFord, Valley Photo Center Executive Director.
The Valley Photo Center is located on the upper level of Tower Square across from the Citywalk Cafes. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 11am - 2pm. For more information you can call 413.781-1553 or visit www.ValleyPhotoCenter.com.
